Privacy Policy for FolderMount

FolderMount is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding user data.

1. No Personal Data Collection

FolderMount is a completely offline desktop utility. It does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII) or user data.

2. No Telemetry or Analytics

FolderMount does not contain any analytics SDKs, telemetry frameworks, tracking cookies, or third-party monitoring services. No usage statistics or error reports are transmitted over the internet.

3. Local Device Storage Only

FolderMount operates entirely on your local machine:

• Drive Mappings: Your folder paths, drive letters, and labels are stored locally on your device in an XML file at %APPDATA%\FolderMount\mappings.xml. This file never leaves your computer.
• Startup Settings: If you choose to enable "Run at Windows startup", FolderMount creates a standard Windows registry entry under your user profile (HKCU) solely to restart the app when you log in.

4. Network Access

FolderMount does not require, request, or initiate any internet connections. It functions completely without an active network connection.

5. Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the updated version will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
