Ahimsa satya asteya brahmacharya aparigraha yamah. (The ethical restraints are non-violence, truthfulness, non-stealing, energy conservation, and non-possessiveness).

Ahimsa pratishtayam tat sannidhau vaira tyagah. (When established in non-violence, all hostility ceases in one's presence).

In the unshakeable presence of non-violence, all surrounding hostility naturally ceases.
