Freedom is what you do with what's been done to you.

We are our choices.

For this is your business: to act well the character assigned you; to choose it belongs to another.

You have been given the principles that you ought to endorse, and you have endorsed them. What kind of teacher, then, are you still waiting for?

The condition and characteristic of a philosopher is that he looks to himself for all help or harm.

Stand up, be bold, be strong. Take the whole responsibility on your own shoulders, and know that you are the creator of your own destiny.
